Does tree generated factor in view permissions? was created by Toryalai Hart
Sorry to post here but couldn't find a place to ask a pre-sale question.
Does tree generated factor in viewer permissions?
I ask because I'm using this on a site with an extremely complex view/do permissions system (set via joomla ACL) and don't want to show a full tree of things that users are then told they don't have access to. Access denied can hurt feelings . If they can't see it, they don't know they're not invited!
Can you please confirm that the generated tree takes into account user ACL settings?
Many thanks and nice job on a very clean looking module!

You welcome Toryalai
This module considers the ACL setup in K2 categories from the backend, this is because the module lists only K2 categories.
In addition to that, in the coming release, I will add a parameter to exclude specific categories, by category ids, from the tree, and this feature will be used independently from the ACL options.
Hope this answers your question
